Adobe

So you want to delete or reset your Adobe account? Let's help you with that!

Our system has detected one of two potential issues:

  • Compromised Password: The password you use for your Adobe ID has been found in a known data breach, making it insecure and putting your account at risk.

  • Use of Work Email: Your work email is being used for a personal service, which is against company policy to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Please follow the relevant instructions below to resolve this issue immediately.

Part 1: Scenario: Your Password Has Been Compromised

If you were notified about a compromised password, you must change it immediately to protect your account and any associated assets. The fastest way to do this is using the password reset feature.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Navigate to the Password Reset Page: Go directly to the Adobe account password reset page.

  2. Enter Your Email Address: Enter the email address associated with your Adobe ID and click "Continue".

  3. Verify Your Identity: Adobe will send a verification code or a reset link to your email address or recovery phone number.

  4. Create a New, Strong Password: Follow the instructions to enter the code and create a new password. Choose one that is strong, unique, and not used on any other website.

After completing this, your account will be secure.

If you were also notified about using a work email, please proceed to Part 2.

Part 2: Scenario: Your Work Email is Used on the Account

Using a company email for personal services is against Aftra's security policy. You have two options to resolve this.

Option A: Change the Email on Your Account (Recommended)

This is the best option if you wish to keep your Adobe account, apps, cloud files, and other assets.

  1. Log In and Go to Your Profile: Log in to your Adobe account and navigate to the "Profile" tab.

  2. Locate Your Email Address: In the "Account information and access" section, find your primary email and click the "Change" button next to it.

  3. Update and Verify Your Email: Enter your new personal email address. Adobe will send a verification code to your new email. Enter that code when prompted to finalize the change.

Option B: Permanently Delete Your Account

If you no longer need the account or its associated files and apps, you can delete it permanently.

Warning: This action is permanent and immediate. You will lose access to all Adobe apps and services. All your content—including files in your cloud storage, Adobe Photos, and Adobe Stock assets—will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

  1. Go to Your Profile: Log in to your Adobe account and navigate to the "Profile" tab.

  2. Start the Deletion Process: Scroll down to the "Account information and access" section and click the link to "Delete Adobe account".

  3. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Adobe will guide you through the process, which may include canceling active subscriptions. Read all warnings carefully and click "Continue".

  4. Final Confirmation: You will be taken to a final confirmation page. Once you confirm, your Adobe account and all its assets will be permanently deleted.

Thank you for taking prompt action to secure your account and comply with your company's security policies.
