So you want to delete or reset your Blush.is account? Let's help you with that!

Part 1: Scenario: Your Password Has Been Compromised

 

If you were notified about a compromised password, you must change it immediately to protect your account and order history. The fastest way to do this is using the "Forgot Password" feature.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Navigate to the Login Page: Go to the Blush.is homepage. In the top-right corner, click on "Innskráning / Nýskráning" (Login / Registration).

  2. Find the "Forgot Password" Link: On the login page, click the link directly below the "Innskráning" button that says "Gleymt lykilorð?" (Forgot password?).

  3. Enter Your Email Address: You will be taken to a new page. Enter the email address associated with your account and click the "Senda" (Send) button.

  4. Check Your Email: Blush.is will send a password reset link to your inbox. If you do not see it, please check your spam or junk folder.

  5. Create a New, Strong Password: Open the email and click the reset link. Create a new, strong password that is unique and not used on any other website.

After completing this, your account will be secure.

Part 2: Scenario: Your Work Email is Used on the Account

 

Using a company email for a personal shopping account, especially for a private service like Blush.is, is against Aftra's security policy. You have two options to resolve this.

Option A: Change the Email on Your Account (Recommended)

This is the best option if you wish to keep your Blush.is account and its order history.

  1. Log In and Go to Information: Log in to your Blush.is account. In the left-hand navigation menu of your account dashboard ("Mín síða"), click on "Upplýsingar" (Information).

  2. Select to Change Email: Tick the checkbox labeled "Breyta netfangi" (Change email).

  3. Update Your Email: Enter your new personal email address in the email field. You must also enter your current password in the "Núverandi lykilorð" (Current password) field to confirm the change. Click "Vista" (Save).

Option B: Permanently Delete Your Account

If you no longer need the account, you can request its deletion.

Note: Blush.is does not offer an automated, self-service option to delete your account from their website. You must contact their customer service directly to request the removal of your personal data.

  1. Draft an Email: Open your email client and compose a new message to Blush.is customer service at blush@blush.is.

  2. Write Your Request: Use a clear and direct subject line, such as "Beiðni um eyðingu aðgangs og persónuupplýsinga" (Request for deletion of account and personal data). In the email, state that you wish to permanently delete your account. Be sure to include the email address associated with the account so they can identify it.

  3. Send and Wait for Confirmation: Send the email. The Blush.is customer service team should reply to confirm your identity and request, and will notify you once the deletion process is complete.
