So you want to delete or reset your Kahoot! account? Let's help you with that!
Our system has detected one of two potential issues:

Compromised Password: The password you use for Kahoot! has been found in a known data breach, making it insecure and putting your account at risk.

Use of Work Email: Your work email is being used for a personal service, which is against company policy to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
Please follow the relevant instructions below to resolve this issue immediately.
Part 1: Scenario: Your Password Has Been Compromised
If you were notified about a compromised password, you must change it immediately to protect your account and any quizzes (Kahoots) you have created. The fastest way is using the "Forgot your password?" feature.
Step-by-Step Guide:

Navigate to the Password Reset Page: Go directly to the Kahoot! password reset page.

Enter Your Email Address: Enter the email address associated with your Kahoot! account and click "Send reset link".

Check Your Email: Kahoot! will send a password reset link to your inbox. If you do not see it, please check your spam or junk folder.

Create a New, Strong Password: Open the email and click the link. Create a new password that is strong, unique, and not used on any other website.
After completing this, your account will be secure.
If you were also notified about using a work email, please proceed to Part 2.
Part 2: Scenario: Your Work Email is Used on the Account
Using a company email for a personal Kahoot! account is against Aftra's security policy. You have two options to resolve this.
Option A: Change the Email on Your Account (Recommended)
This is the best option if you wish to keep your Kahoot! account and all the quizzes and reports you have created.

Log In and Go to Settings: Log in to your Kahoot! account. In the top-right corner, click on your profile icon and select "Profile settings" from the dropdown menu.

Locate the Email Field: In the "User information" section, find the field that displays your current email address.

Update Your Email: Replace your work email with your new personal email address. Scroll to the bottom of this section and click the "Save" button to confirm the change. Kahoot! may send a verification link to your new email address.
Option B: Permanently Delete Your Account
If you no longer need the account or its content, you can delete it permanently.
Warning: This action is permanent and immediate. All of your created Kahoots, game reports, and profile information will be instantly and irreversibly deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Log In and Go to Settings: Follow Step 1 from Option A to access your "Profile settings".

Locate the Deletion Link: Scroll to the very bottom of the page. Below the "Save" button, you will see a red link that says "Delete account".

Confirm Deletion: A confirmation window will appear, warning you of the consequences. You must re-enter your account password to confirm your identity.

Finalize Deletion: Click the final "Delete account" button to permanently erase your account and all of its data.
