Use of Work Email: Your work email is being used for a personal service, which is against company policy to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
Please follow the relevant instructions below to resolve this issue immediately.
Part 1: Scenario: Your Password Has Been Compromised
If you were notified about a compromised password, you must change it immediately to protect your account and any videos you have uploaded. The fastest way to do this is using the "Forgot your password?" feature.
Step-by-Step Guide:

Navigate to the Password Reset Page: Go directly to the Vimeo password reset page.

Enter Your Email Address: Enter the email address associated with your Vimeo account and click the "Send link" button.

Check Your Email: Vimeo will send a password reset link to your inbox. If you do not see it, please check your spam or junk folder.

Create a New, Strong Password: Open the email and click the reset link. Create a new password that is strong, unique, and not used on any other website.
After completing this, your account will be secure.

Part 2: Scenario: Your Work Email is Used on the Account
Using a company email for a personal video hosting service is against Aftra's security policy. You have two options to resolve this.
Option A: Change the Email on Your Account (Recommended)
This is the best option if you wish to keep your Vimeo account, your uploaded videos, and your profile history.

Log In and Go to Settings: Log in to your Vimeo account. Hover over your profile picture in the top-right corner and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to the Account Tab: Ensure you are on the "Account" tab (selected from the left-hand menu).

Update and Verify Your Email: In the "Email Address" section, you must first enter your current password for verification. You can then edit the email field and enter your new personal email address. Click "Save". Vimeo will send a verification link to your new email address; you must click it to finalize the change.
Option B: Permanently Delete Your Account
If you no longer need the account or its content, you can delete it permanently.
Warning: This action is permanent and immediate. All of your videos, profile information, comments, likes, and any purchased content will be instantly and irreversibly deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Log In and Go to Settings: Follow Step 1 from Option A to access your account "Settings".

Locate the Deletion Link: On the "Account" tab, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red link that says "Delete your account".

Confirm Deletion: A confirmation page or window will appear, warning you of the consequences. You must re-enter your account password to confirm your identity.

Finalize Deletion: Click the final "Delete account" button to permanently erase your account and all its content.
